WOLFHEAD LAVA CAKE

Love Coffee Whisky Liqueur? You’ll love this recipe by our very own chef Amber.

DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS – 1 CUP
UNSALTED BUTTER-  1 ¼ CUP
FLOUR – ¼ CUP
SUGAR-  ½ CUP
COCOA POWDER – 2 TBLS
BAKING POWDER  -1 1/3 TSP
BANANA CARAMEL VODKA  – 2 TBLS
WHOLE LARGE EGGS –  2
EGG YOLKS – 2
EGG WHITES  -2

STEPS: 

  1. Melt chocolate and 1 cup of butter in a double boiler
  2. Cream together sugar and the rest of butter till smooth
  3. Sift together dry ingredients in a bowl
  4. Add whole egg, egg yolks and add coffee whisky to butter mixture
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients until smooth
  6. Whip egg whites till they form soft peaks
  7. Fold egg whites into flour mixture. Stir melted chocolate into mixture
  8. Then portion 4oz into each of your ramekins
  9. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes
