Wolfhead Distillery is a story of passion and innovation. Before crafting premium spirits, Tom and Sue Manherz built a successful pallet business in Amherstburg, Ontario. The distillery was born when Tom, originally planning a third-party bottling operation, saw an opportunity to create something of his own. And as Tom jokes, with Sue’s love for vodka, the vision became clear.
Determined to craft exceptional spirits, Tom sourced state-of-the-art equipment from Italy, ensuring top-quality production, and built a distillery that pushes the boundaries of Canadian craft spirits. Partnering with longtime friend and culinary expert Larry Girard, they expanded the vision by adding a restaurant, making Wolfhead more than just a distillery—it became a destination.
